Culture Mushrooms began from Alfred’s vision and years of experience to create a product that not only reflected his love for growing the finest quality mushrooms but also his passion for whole foods and creating artisanal produce.
Laura came on board, and together, using a hands-on process and combining their skills and passion for farming, they are creating the freshest and tastiest mushroom snacks.
We grow our mushrooms locally on a farm in Cape Town using a rotational grow room system that makes chemical pesticides unnecessary. We think through every step of the complex process of growing mushrooms with pure passion.
Everything is made with love, from spawn production to our very own spice blends, with help from our hard-working kitchen and farm team. At Culture Mushrooms, we are dedicated to mirroring our love for growing wonderful, wholesome food with our products.
It is vital to us that our delicious products are healthy, environmentally-conscious and bursting with wonderful flavours.
